- How old must I be to get a tattoo?
- In the state of Georgia, you must be 18 years of age to get tattooed. No exceptions.
- Can I get tattooed under age 18 if I bring my parents with me?
- No. Parental consent does not change the law.
- What is your shop minimum?
- Our shop minimum is $100.
- How much for ____?
- Each artist prices things differently. Prices are based on size, complexity, and location of the tattoo as well as how long it will take to complete. We recommend consulting with your artist in order to get an accurate price quote.
- Is it going to hurt?
- Probably. Every person is wired a bit differently.
- What is the most/least painful area to get tattooed?
- It is almost impossible to say what area will be the most or least painful for you personally. Everybody’s pain tolerance is different, and everybody’s pain receptors are different. That said: hands, feet, ribs, shin bone, and armpit are generally considered more painful.
- How should I prepare for my tattoo appointment?
- Drink plenty of water in the week leading up to your appointment. Hydrated skin is more receptive to the ink. Eat before coming in. Avoid caffeine and alcohol for at least 48 hours prior to your tattoo. Dress comfortably and make sure your clothing choice allows easy access to the area getting tattooed.
- Are you going to be busy at ___ time/date?
- It is impossible for us to predict when we will be busy. We try to accept as many walk-in clients as possible, but tattoos take time. If there is a specific date or time you want to get tattooed during, then setting up an appointment is the best way to secure that time.
- How do I set up an appointment?
- The easiest way to set up an appointment is to come in for a consultation. We try to match clients with the artist best suited for their particular piece. You can also view each artists’ portfolio and ask for a specific artist. In order to secure your appointment, we require a $100 non-refundable deposit.
